The v1.0.1 hotfix landed on September 3 to repair the voice layer that the whole game depends on. Fixed: cracking and distorted voice chat audio, players unable to hear or speak through voice chat, and voice chat still audible in 3D on the Report panel after returning to the lobby from a run.

Because BOMBANANA! is a talking game, a voice bug ends a session faster than any puzzle. If your team hits voice problems, update to v1.0.1 first and test in the lobby before starting a bomb. The known issue still open is random game crashes - Lefto Studio says it is investigating.

Playing With Friends

The game is online co-op for exactly three players. Each player takes one role - blind, deaf or mute - and the roles never mix, so a session lives or dies on how comfortably the three of you talk to each other.

Playing With Strangers

Matchmaking with strangers means agreeing on vocabulary mid-game. Spend the first Custom bomb establishing: numbers count from the left, colors are named exactly as printed, and 'the panel' means the one the blind player is touching.

If a random team keeps failing the same module, it is almost always a relay problem, not a rule problem - reset the vocabulary before blaming the puzzle.
